Main: Colour Scheme Ideas

After looking at the Colour Schemes of other EDM/Dance Magazines I noticed that there was three colours that come up a lot, two of these colours were obviously Black and White these two are used because they stand out from each other so well so it is obvious that I will be using these in all of my Colour Scheme possibilities. 

Cover Page:

The Cover Pages of the magazines that I looked at had a swatch of five or more colours so for my contents page I would like to use not necessarily five different colours like Red, Blue. Green and White but I want to use different shades and tints of a specific colours. So for my front cover the colours a plan on using are Black, White, Pinks and Purples.

Contents Page:

For the contents pages i looked at the main colours used are mainly Black and White, with a hint of a few other colours that are used as a background behind the subtitles of a section. So depending on how many sections I have will determine how many colours I end up using, I plant to limit myself at five maximum though. For the colours I will be using for my contents page will mainly be black and white just to keep in a similar theme to the rest with a small hint of other colours. 

2 Page Spread:

For my two page spread I will be using colours that are the same as the colours that are on the front cover, as the colours on the cover page will be related to the artist so the colour of the artist (Black, White, Pinks, Purples) will be on the two page spread
