Main: Costume/Prop Planning

Hair:
Below are two possibilities as to what type of hair style I would like my artist to have one is from a 80s singer called Pete Burns from the band Dead or Alive and the other is a more modern artist: Elly Jackson from the band La Roux. These are two very different hair styles but they both have the feel of the 80s in them one slightly more so than the other; Pete Burns hair style is straight out of the 80s however Elly's is more of a evolution of the 'A Flock Of Seagulls' haircut a  evolution that was for the best. Oddly enough these types of hair styles have come back into fashion in recent years for men just with slight twist so I feel that if I use one of these types of hairstyles it will catch the eye of someone in the modern era who likes this type of hair style.

Clothing:
For clothing I'd like to have the artist in possibly a black suit jacket but it doesn't necessarily have to be a suit jacket they are in another possibility would be a black trench coat. They could possibly have a trench coat on because in the 80s in England trench coats were quite the popular. As for the possibility of the suit that came from the 80s dance band the Eurythmics who in nearly all their band photos they are wearing a suit.

Pants:

For pants I am considering twopossibilities, they are all the colour black however they are different styles of pants which are harem pants or Jeans. I am leaning more towards the harem pants for the selected option because of McHammer, in the 80s after McHammer released his song 'Can't Touch This' Harem pants became surprisingly popular. The Jeans are just something that was in fashion in the 80s and a lot of people wore so it wouldn't be uncommon to see a band wearing them.

Top:

For the top that the artist will be wearing there are quite a few possibilities, in the 80s tops with writing on them were quite popular (especially the Frankie Says Relax top) so a plain whit top with some text is one possibility or even a plain white top with a simple pattern on it that is black. Other possibilities are just plain tops in different colours; red, blue, white, grey and possibly black. The option I like the sound of the most and think would go best with the rest of the outfit is just a plain white top under.

Shoes:

For the shoes I have decided that I am going to use black ankle boots as these were what a lot of men worn in the 80s so if my artist is a male it would only make sense as he will be following the fashion sense that was set at the time.
